Our Classes
*All classes, Clay Dates or memberships are $10 off if you pay by cash or check.
Mudluk offers an exceptional range and level of courses in hand-building, wheel-throwing, sculpture and technical topics, each year. Class sessions are 4 weeks long. Our experienced faculty has a broad range of practical experience as well as formal training and education from ceramic arts programs at major universities.
Mudluk classes meet for 2.5 hours once per week each session, with class enrollment limited to 8 participants in wheel throwing and 10 in handbuilding. We guarantee all students enrolled in wheel throwing classes have access to a wheel during their class time. Tuition includes clay and glazes. Benchtime is also available during non-class hours weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays for a $5 an hour. Additional clay can be purchased at Mudluk.
*Mudluk classes need at least 5 students enrolled to run the class.
*Firing of work is separate from the class fee and is dependent upon readiness of work and kiln firing schedule. Firing charges are 6¢ per cubic inch for 2 firings and are due prior to firing. Student work is stacked by Mudluk staff whenever a full kiln load is present.
Mudluk offers group classes, youth classes, *private lessons, *parties or *Membership. Our instructors have decades of experience working with youth. Classes are designed to be fun and engaging. Offering accessible projects that will inspire your child to create. These classes are for functional ware as well as sculptural. Let your child be the guide.

Private Lessons
Mudluk offers both one and two hour private lessons, for you, and maybe a friend or two, if you can’t find time for a full session of classes. You’ll have a great time working one-on-one with an experienced instructor, where you will create pieces using hand building or wheel throwing techniques. COVID-19 Rules & Protocol
Mudluk requires the use of 95% masks in our studio to create a safe working environment at Mudluk. 95% masks are tight-fitting and filter out at least 95% of particles in the air, including large and small particles.
