Queerspace and Mudluk are partnering to bring you a 4 week introduction to clay arts! Join us to learn foundational handbuilding and wheel thrown techniques. Students will make functional and expressive ceramic objects while reflecting their personal identity and joy through clay. All students finish with glaze fired work.
Mudluk Melanated
Are you Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color? Learn some basics of working with clay at Mudluk Pottery. This is a monthly, low-stakes opportunity to take a break from participating in the system. Come be in community while you play and create in a queer-friendly space that prioritizes joy and existing unapologetically. Enjoy snacks, music, and enrichment beyond social media. You deserve to experience self care through art you can sink your hands into. Please leave any non-melanated besties at home, this affinity time was not created for them. $20 tickets
